Welcome to Our Countryside Cottages in the Dordogne.
Relax and unwind in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne countryside, surrounded by peaceful woodland and open fields, yet just a short 10-minute drive from the charming town of Nontron.
Our two independent cottages offer comfortable, family-friendly accommodation in a tranquil rural setting. Perfect for two couples and small families, each cottage sleeps up to five guests plus young child ( cot or toddlers mattress bed can be provided ) and has been thoughtfully renovated to combine original character with modern comfort.
Bed linen and towels are included in the nightly price as well as some essentials to get you started.
Whether you’re exploring the historic villages, local markets, lakes and châteaux, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside, our cottages provide the perfect base for your stay.
Nearby places to visit include Brantôme (20 minutes), Périgueux (50 minutes), and Angoulême (1 hour).
Our Location & Property
Both cottages are located in a peaceful rural setting and share a spacious courtyard with ample parking.
Our family lives on the property in a nearby building. We respect our guests’ privacy but are always nearby if you need any assistance during your stay.
Guests are welcome to walk through our garden to explore the surrounding fields and woodland.

Little House – Charming Poolside Cottage
Originally built in the 1800s and renovated in a contemporary style while retaining its original character, Little House is a charming stone cottage surrounded by fields and woodland.
This cosy retreat has been welcoming guests for over 8 years and is ideal for one or two couples, or a small family looking for a peaceful countryside escape.

Guests can enjoy a shaded outdoor dining area beside the swimming pool with table, bench and seating.
The swimming pool (7m x 5m, depth 1.2m) is available during the warmer months, usually July and August, and occasionally earlier if the weather allows. The pool is shared with our family, but we only use it when guests are out, so it will feel like your own private space.
There is plenty of parking beside the property and a grass area at the front of the house where you can enjoy beautiful evening sunsets.
Guests are also welcome to explore our surrounding fields and woodland paths.
Mados – Beautiful Renovated Country Cottage
Newly renovated in 2024, Mados is a stylish countryside cottage located beside our original rental property. It combines traditional charm with modern comfort and offers wonderful views over the surrounding fields.
This cottage is perfect for small families or two couples looking for a peaceful rural retreat.
